outfit of the day: blue crochet and black

I decided to dress casual but still girly on this particular day for university. I usually wear my hair down straight but I ventured for a mini side braid into a ponytail. I love the crochet design on the blue top with the criss cross detail on the back and I paired it up with simple high waisted loose fitted shorts. I am a sucker for gold jewellery and the only accessory I added to the outfit was the gold key necklace I purchased from Forever 21. The rectangle earrings I am wearing is what I wear every day and I dare say it transmits a contrast feeling from your basic sleepers or studs. You can't attend classes without wearing a comfortable pair of shoes or you will instantly regret it. To steer away from my flats I tend to always wear, I finished the outfit off with my Nike Satire shoes -- underneath instead of socks were black lace footsies.
