I have recently developed a fond for the planner community here on the internet. I was never the one to use a planner or a diary. When I was younger, I would purchase different styles of diaries but I never used them because I never knew what you were supposed to write in them. Until one day, I stumbled across Erin Condren but as I was in the process of purchasing my own personalised planner, the shipping cost to Australia is almost the same cost as the planner itself. I had to think of an alternative. I was then introduced to Kikki K and today I love sitting down to decorate and plan out my week.

Monkeying Around Theme

First off, I choose my stickers for the week. I decided on monkey theme and I have made my own stickers.

I think this is a really cute idea if you have a washi tape print design in mind but don't want to spend the money on it. I measured out the dimensions accordingly and I'm actually excited what I can do for next week. Lining the top of the pages and also the weekend is scrapbook paper that I have chosen that matches the colour theme of the week. For decoration I've taken a sticker of a tree -- cause we all know monkeys swing from branches -- right?

How adorable are the monkeys?

I attend university and I colour code my subjects for easy identification. I love that I am able to customise my stickers to suit my style, needs and lifestyle. In a way I use my planner not only as somewhere to jot down upcoming events but also as a journal in a way. I note down when I start reading a new book or anything that happened during the day which I would like to remember.
Are you a planner lover like me? What planner do you use? Do you shop on Etsy?
Much Love, Steph
